Geocache Description:

This cache is placed close to an Olympic venue/race route, and will be disabled from July 11th to September 10th. Please do not seek this cache during this time. You are looking for a Steel cylinder 150 long by 40 diameter. Sizes in mm UNO.

Cache is located (apparently) in a Pre-War, Listed, Underground Vent. If anyone has anymore details, please let me know. Filming for the new Dexter Fletcher film "Wild Bill" has just finished here of which I was involved. Film out in June 2011. All the Local homes are about to be demolished to make area nicer/modern for Olympic Event. Cache contains Log Book, Pencil, TB, CITO kit and two packets of Desiccant. Happy caching! Congratulations to JEKUB for being !!!!!FTF!!!!!!. Thank you very much to Probbins2000 for taking the time to explain what this large container is: "I have worked on the underground heavy engineering side and I am fairly sure this is either a smoke vent or a pressure relief vent for the under ground track below. Where the train goes from a grade track (above ground) to underground at a portal sometimes vents were put in to disperse the piston action of the train entering the bore. However, I’m sure someone will know more about it than me"
