How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

Cache In Trash Out is an ongoing environmental initiative supported by the worldwide geocaching community. Since 2002, geocachers have been dedicated to cleaning up parks and other cache-friendly places around the world. Through these volunteer efforts, we help preserve the natural beauty of our outdoor resources.

This CITO is from 9:30 am - 12:00 pm on Saturday April 16th, at Howarth Park in Everett.

Please arrive promptly, so we can get organized and get instructions from the Park Ranger. Any amount of time you are able to help is greatly appreciated.

We will be walking the beach and the surrounding trails in the park picking up garbage. Please dress to get dirty! Work gloves (if you have a pair), long pants, and boots are a must. Raingear and layers depending on weather.

Everett Parks Department will provide buckets, disposable gloves, garbage bags and litter sticks.

There is a picnic shelter and tables in the park for anyone who wants to bring a picnic lunch. I will be providing water and snacks during the CITO. I will also have a few items to raffle off at the end of the event.
This event will take place rain or shine
