Wheatland Water Ways – CITO
Please help us Cache-In-Trash-Out and clean up this beautiful natural area
The area in Wheatland where the Fox River crosses Palmer Creek is a favorite Kenosha county fishing spot that people come to year round, summer and winter, night and day. This is a beautiful natural area but unfortunately seems to also be a favorite drinking/partying spot, as every time we have been here and walked the area there is litter consisting of glass bottles, beer cans, and food wrappers from one end of the park to the other, especially along the riverbanks.
Please enjoy finding this cache, it is a camo-ed prescription bottle, and it only contains a log and pencil. It is in the general area of an old cache that has been archived. While you are here take a scenic walk along the trails following the meandering riverbanks & the creek. Take in the sights and sounds of the water, foliage and the wildlife. And if you are able, please bring with you a garbage bag and gloves and practice ‘Cache-In-Trash-Out” to keep this nature area clean and beautiful!
