How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

To reach the rank of Eagle Scout, the scout must achieve 21 Merit Badges and complete an extensive service project that he must plan, organize, lead and manage. On average, each Scout conducts about 167 service hours towards the project.

This Geocache is located at Evangelical Covenant Church and permission has been obtained to hide this cache. Please no searching for cache on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings.

An Eagle Scout from Troop 253 improved the outside handicap entrance of the church by putting in a concrete slab and adding the benches and sitting area.

Each of the twelve "Cache to Eagle" series caches have a designated code word associated with the cache. The code word will be within the cache (such as written on the logbook or taped to the lid). The code word is one of the twelve points of the Scout Law.

The first 3 Scouts who find all twelve "Cache to Eagle" caches for the Crow River District, and emails a listing of all the codewords and associated Cache No's to me will receive a "Cache to Eagle" Scout patch.

CONGRATULATIONS TO RACETTES! THEY WERE THE FIRST TO COMPLETE THE SERIES AND WON THE CACHE TO EAGLE GEOCOIN
