How Geocaching Works

This is a letterbox hybrid in the series of caches in historic Webster County cemeteries. (You may want to have a signature stamp and log book with you to take full advantage of the letterbox qualities of the cache.)
Cache contains log book, hand-carved stamp [NOT FOR TRADE], pencil and swag. [Note: Please bring your own ink!]
FTF prize is a Letterboxer Trading Card with stamp image carved by me!
A mizpah is an "unbreakable emotional bond" between people, somthing which not even death can sever. The term "mizpah" comes from Genesis 31:49 in the Bible. "And Mizpah; for he said, The Lord watch between me and thee, when we are absent one from another."
Mizpah is a fitting name for the final resting place for a loved one. The word is sometimes engraved on tombstones as well.
The stamp is based on mizpah jewelry which is designed as two halves of a design so that one person wears one half, and their beloved wears the other half. (Sometimes pieces are designed to signify friendship as well.)
A letterbox hybrid cache contains a signature stamp, often hand-carved, designed for those who find it to stamp in their personal log books. This lets you, as the finder, collect a number of images from different letterbox hybrid caches. (The cache's stamp is not for trade.)
If you have a stamp with you, please leave your stamp's mark in the cache's log book. The owner is collecting stamp images! If you don't have a stamp, sign the log book and leave a doodle or draw something you see nearby.
Each letterbox in the Webster County Cemeteries series will have a different stamp image. Be sure to collect them all!
As always, please be respectful of the area and practice CITO as needed.
