Geocache Description:

This cache is located just north of Milford, NJ in the Milford Bluffs Preserve. There are great views of the Delaware River of your way to the Summerwind cache.

To find "Summerwind" you will have to travel about a mile north of Milford, NJ. There is a left turn off of Rte 519 onto a dirt road. There is a sign at the entrance to the preserve BUT it is small so many people miss this turn. Travel up the road to the parking area; make sure you drive slow if you do not have a 4-wheel drive vehicle as the road is narrow and bumpy. In the spring, it is also muddy after a rainfall. Once out of the car, take the trail towards the river: follow the trail to the open field where orange ribbons are placed. From there, you can take one of two trails to the cache: one is straight ahead and the other is to the left. In either case, it is best to rely on your GPS. Enjoy the beautiful view of the Delaware River. Check nearby for the Milford Bluffs cache. NOTE: Be careful in wet weather as the terrain can be slippery.
