Crossing over the river Venta

[LAT] Slēpnis atrodas netālu no vietas, kur kādreiz bija pārceltuve pār Ventas upi. Pārceltuve tika izveidota, lai savienotu abos Ventas krastos esošās ekotūrisma dabas takas. 2006. gadā izstrādāta projekta ietvaros tika izbūvēta pārceltuve, bet diemžl jau nākamajā gadā pārceltuve vairs nebija darbošanās kārtībā sakarā ar zemo ūdens līmeni ventas upē. Līdz ar to pārceltuve tika demontēta, un par tās kādreizējo esamību liecina tikai daži infrastruktūras pārpalikumi.

[ENG] The cache is located near the spot where once was a ferry across the river Venta. Crossing was designed to connect ecotourism nature trails in both sides of the river Venta. In 2006th it was developed and constructed within the project, but in following year the ferry was no activ because the low water level in the river Venta. Consequently, the ferry had been dismantled, and its former existence shows just some of the infrastructure surpluses.
