I grew up on Sunfish lake, we built in the early 1970's and lived
through the fire in 1980. This area was completely burned to the
ground. If you look around there really hasn't been that much
growth in 30 years. I remember looking on the far side of the lake
and seeing LP Cylinders burning with flames up over the tree tops.
Be careful and put out your campfires!
The lake has a million small Panfish, Northerns and decent Bass,
however in all these years I have never caught what I would call a
big fish here... I still love to come here.
