Igreja de São Lourenço do Palmeiral

Construída no séc. XVII, trata-se de uma ermida de família e comunitária, mandada construir pelos senhores do morgado, onde foi colocada a lendária imagem de São Lourenço, que lhe deu o nome. De arquitectura simples, tanto no exterior como interior, evidencia-se o retábulo barroco em talha dourada. Templo de um só corpo em que sobressaem dois altares colaterais, dos séculos XIX e XX.

Built in the century XVII, it's a community and family chapel, built by the lords of the homestead (Morgado), where was placed the legendary image of St. Lourenço, which gave it the name. From simple architecture, both exterior and interior, it is clear the gilded baroque altarpiece. Temple of a single body in which stand two side altars, the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
