Geocache Description:

This cache is not at the co-ordinates listed, they're for an ait in the middle of the Marl pond in Outwood. I really wouldn't recommend swimming or boating it there, you will probably be disappointed.

This cache was inspired by a cache on the Sussex coast (GC2JX8D).

Elvis the Elf

The co-ordinates to this cache are held on 2 Travel Bugs. The two related Travel Bugs are Anders the Elf (TB428J3) and Miley the Elf (TBAANYK). They are happily travelling around Surrey and West Sussex. Get the co-ordinates off them, and find the cache! It’s as simple as that!

How to play the elf game properly: These are NOT additional logging requirements, they are just a guide:

1. If the trackable's are held by different geocachers, please do not contact each other to swap codes, you are only cheating yourselves.

2. The correct way to find the cache, you have to have picked up and dropped both trackables before you can 'qualify' to find the cache. (To discover, you just have to see it in the holders hands).

3. It would really be unfair for a cacher to hold both trackables at the same time, it would decrease the opportunities for others to find and log the trackables and ultimately find the cache.

4. Ideally you should log the trackables first before finding the cache.

The difficulty level is based on the fact that you've got to get hold of the TBs first – The cache shouldn't be a particularly difficult find.

Please keep the TBs moving as quickly as possible, they do not like travelling together and need their own space in separate caches. Please limit their travels to Surrey and West Sussex only. Otherwise finding the cache would be too difficult!

The cache is somewhere in the village of Outwood. Suggested parking can be the parking area close to Outwood Cricket club, or outside the Windmill on Outwood common. Then it's on foot from there!

The cache is a small but doesn't have a pen so please bring your own pen/pencil. Please also replace the cache as found.
