Geocache Description:

Another in the Lewisham Landmarks Series

The cache is located near the heritage listed stone terracing in Lewisham. Curved stones form a terrace of areas to plant, although it is a bit run down at the moment.

The stonework also incorporates seating to rest as you walk up the steps. May be you can have a rest after finding the cache.

There are some lovely old trees in the area as well.

The stonework was done as part of work relief during the Great Depression in Sydney.

The cache is located near the footpath leading up to the road bridge over the railway line which is expected to become a tram line.

You don't need to leave to the footpath or go down the stairs to find the cache, though you might feel a bit strange during peak hour on the main road trying to find it.
