Grundy Canyon series is located on Rusk County land. This series encompasses a canyon, felsenmeer, and waterfall. Grundy Canyon is a very unique area with much to offer but does require a long walk and some very rough terrain. Bring food and extra water. Please take pictures and enjoy this unique area.
Fallow field in the middle of woods. I wonder if there was an old farmstead in here at one time before the county took it over.
On your way out of Grundy Canyon you could hit the logging road on the east end of this field and it will take you to the end of Slack Road. From there you can walk back to the parking spot by the Devil's Kettle. I have walked out both ways and kind of liked cutting through the woods better then the road and it is a little shorter.
