Geocache Description:

Ticket pick-up opens at 9:00 am.

All aboard the historic Belle of Louisville for a steamboat ride up the Ohio River. This vintage steamboat is the oldest operating western rivers steamboat in existence.

As we leave the wharf you will be just upstream from the Falls of the Ohio. From there, we will travel upstream as the old riverboats did a century ago.

The steamboat has been reserved for the geocaching event and will be a muggle free cruise. Once on board, passengers will be able to freely roam through all three levels of the boat. Concessions will be available on board.

TICKETS ARE REQUIRED for the cruise. Tickets are SOLD OUT; however, come log the event by showing up dockside to the big send off.

EVENT NOTES:

DIRECTIONS: DO NOT follow your GPS. Detailed directions are available on the Belle of Louisville website or by calling (502) 574-2992 or (toll-free) 866-832-0011 in advance of the event. All local hotels should be able to provide directions to the wharf.

PARKING: The area has lots of parking lots and on-street parking. There are other Memorial Day events scheduled in downtown Louisville so adjust your time to get a prime parking space.

DEPARTURE TIME: Please be aware that the boat leaves as scheduled and cannot wait for late passengers. In addition, there is no refund or exchange of tickets if you miss the boat, regardless of the reason. The Belle operates on Eastern Daylight Time. Be sure and adjust your watches and clocks to Louisville time when you're making your travel plans.
