Geocache Description:



Tout près du village-centre de Lachaux se trouve le lieu-dit de Murat. Ce gros hameau était sûrement autrefois un village rural grouillant d’activité. On peut aisément imaginer les mamies faisant leur couture sur le pas de la porte, les jeunes filles amenant les vaches aux prés et aux paysans mettant la paille en grange pour l’hiver…

Depuis, le hameau s’est vidé, ne compte plus qu’une dizaine d’habitants, et est partiellement ruiné, ce qui lui donne un aspect successivement pittoresque (s’il fait beau), mystérieux (si le ciel est couvert), ou carrément lugubre (par temps de pluie dans le brouillard au coucher du soleil).
