DETAILS - Please Read Carefully:
As most of you may or may not know, we are hosting a large scale Geocaching event to search for aliens at this same location on August 26th at 7pm.
We would like to add an extra element to this already exciting day by showing that we care about and respect our surroundings.
Many of you will be venturing out on the E.T. Highway to tackle the new series of caches along the route. So what we would like you to do is help pick up the large amounts of litter along the way.
There is a tub full of trash bags next to the first cache of the trail (0001-ET). Just grab one of those bags as you log that cache and use it to collect the trash along the way.
We encourage you to take your time along the trail and pick up what you see, and please don't limit yourself to only trash near cache sites. Watch for trash between caches and stop for that as well.
Please be safety conscious and pull completely off the roadway to avoid danger, and driving with your Hazard lights (flashers) on wouldn't hurt either.
Deliver all your trash to the U.F.O. Tow Truck at the posted coordinates between 6:30 - 7:00pm and you will receive an extra drawing ticket for the great prizes at the Alien Search Party event which starts at 7pm.
The later event is drawing a big crowd and lots of attention, it may even turn MEGA!
