42below: It looks like Red Letter day is no more. Quite fitting really, as our Girls weekends we had just down the road (that it was in honor of), are no more either- as the house we used was sold. Time to archive and hopefully someone else may take a shine to one of the lovely old trees in the future and place another cache. It was always fun climbing the tree to check the cache, and I hope those who found this cache let their inner child loose & enjoyed it too!

Geocache Description:

Red Letter Days are “days of special significance”....

Our “Girls Weekends” in Queensclif are of very special significance to us, especially now some of our group have moved to far flung places. These weekends are looked forward too with much anticipation. Leisurely strolls along the beach in all weather, eating, drinking, & doing girl things with much hilarity does the soul good! One of the houses we stay is nearby & the colour red is significant for the house also. Mind you, we will have to find a more accommodating house in years to come when we are old and on Zimmer frames!

Heres to these Girls- thanks for keeping me sane and grounded!

Cache is a smalll clip top container with log book, pencil and small swaps.
