Geocache Description:

People travel miles and miles hunting those elusive smiles. On Memorial Day weekend all roads lead to InKy* territory, the home of GeoWoodstock and the place where it all began.

The official GeoWoodstock X meet and greet will bring you to the Clark-Floyd Counties Convention & Tourism Bureau on the Sunny Side of Louisville. For you out-of-towners, that's southern Indiana.

Stop by anytime between 6pm – 9pm for a little fun at our street party to kick off GeoWoodstock X. Bring those stories about earning your favorite smiley to share with new and old friends.

Everyone is encouraged to wear their grooviest smiley face or tie-dye attire to celebrate the excitement surrounding this pre-Geowoodstock party. This is an active event, meaning there is no seating unless you bring your own. Be prepared to walk along the street fair and mingle with Geocachers from around the country and around the world.

Two short blocks away is restaurant row and a view of the first GeoWoodstock’s location just across the Ohio River. Or, take a stroll across the Clark Memorial Bridge to downtown Louisville. Glance northwest for a view of one of the largest clocks in the world. Just down the road you can step back in time at the spot where George Rogers Clark set off on his epic journey or visit fossil beds that are a mere 390-million years old.

PACKET PICK UP: GeoWoodstock X registration packets available for pick up

PARKING: Parking is available in two locations. N38 16.256 W 085 44.898 or N38 16.210 W 085 45.035
