I call this as a quasi-finale puzzle because this puzzle requires input of the previous eight puzzles in the series. However, unlike a real finale puzzle, you do not need to successfully solve all of the previous puzzles to find the final coordinates of this puzzle. For most of you who do not have time to solve the previous puzzles, you can still solve this one. Moreover, you can still solve this puzzle even when some caches in this puzzle series are disabled.
The puzzle works like this: each puzzle from 1 to 8 has a secret number hidden somewhere. Your goal is to find the number in each page.
The links for previous puzzles can be found here
The final coordinates are the following:
N 40 0(1).(2)(3)(4) W 88 1(5).(6)(7)(8)
where the number in parentheses is the secret number that you find for that puzzle number.
Each puzzle page has an unique way to hide the secret number. The secret is written such that you know you have the right number. Realizing that there are so many ways to hide a number, there is one more hint below.
The following list contains the hiding methods for all eight puzzle pages. They are in random order, and are presented in a cryptoquiz format. Cryptoquiz is one form of cryptograms. Each letter in the encrypted text randomly corresponds to another letter. Your goal is to figure out which letter corresponds to which, and the hiding methods will be revealed.
Since I think there should be no confusion when you have the secret numbers, I will not provide a Geochecker or checksum at this moment.
There should be parking nearby at the cache location. The hide should be on an average difficulty (i.e. ~ 2-star difficulty).
By the way, I am pleased to announce that this cache has been selected to be the:
