Schneller Drive-In in Weitersburg

Quick grab'n'go cache in Weitersburg

Der Brandeweiher, von der Busgesellschaft, die die nahegelegene Bushaltestelle anfährt mit "Brandweg" betitelt, dient der Weitersburger Feuerwehr als Wasserquelle, die seit dem Brand in der ortsansässigen Kerzenfabrik vor vielen Jahren aber nicht mehr ernsthaft benutzt wurde. Obwohl dieses Kleinod gemütlich anmutet, machen doch eher wenige Rast an besagter Stelle. Möglicherweise liegt es an der sagenhaften Aussicht auf das unfassbar hässliche Busshäuschen oder an der doch eher hoch frequentierten Hauptstraße. Aber hier einmal vorbei zu schauen lohnt sich allemal.

Jetzt, da es eine Belohnung dafür gibt, erst recht.

Hinweis: Der Cache liegt in einem Wohngebiet. Hauseinfarten und Privatgrundstücke müssen aber nicht betreten werden!

The Brandeweiher, for an unknown reason titled "Brandweg" by the bus company arriving at the nearby bus stop, is being used as a water source for the Firedepartement of Weitersburg. However since local candle factory experienced going up in flames a couple of years ago that water source has not been used seriously anymore. Though that place appears pretty idyllic there are rather few people resting there. The ugly bus stop booth might be the reason or maybe the very frequently used main road. But it's worth to visit that little place.

Now, that there's a reward for visiting more than ever.

Note: The cache is within a housing area. But it's not necessary to enter drives or private property.
