Geocache Description:

Populating the trail with another cache to encourage geocachers to take a hike!

This cache name was inspired by the view at this spot of the waves creating white water at the Portuguese Bend Beach Club.

The McBride Trail in Rancho Palos Verdes is a mile-long trail offerering spectacular views of the Palos Verdes coastline and Catalina Island. The public trail was dedicated in 1989 for local resident Clifton R. McBride who spent 13 years improving and maintaining it.

Parking is available on adjacent residential streets, see the marked Parking Waypoints for the McBride Trail - West Trailhead or the McBride Trail - East Trailhead. If you have already found the trailhead caches, closer parking can be found at N33° 45.318 W118° 22.879.

As always be aware of natural hazards and bring water.
