Geocache Description:

This cache is located by Walker's Pond in Staten Island's High Rock Park. Walker's Pond is a wonderful place to go to clear your mind. The view from the dock is lovely and during the Summer season, lily pads blossom and cover the entire surface. If you're quiet enough you might even hear a couple frogs! It is by far my favorite nook in Staten Island, which is why I chose this as my first cache location. There is two ways to enter the greenbelt to get to the trail that will lead you to the pond; From the top of Altamont street, or the shorter, easier way which is from the top of Summit avenue. BYOP!!!! Since it is inside a wooded area, I wouldn't suggest attempting at night. Being that it is my first time hiding a cache, feedback is highly appreciated! Enjoy the sights & happy geocaching! =)
