Simply Paul: Thanks again everyone who came along.
Our next stop for the Geolympix roadshow is Berlin on the 29th of September, with New York to follow and Greenwich - a little closer to home - soon too. Keep your eyes on our site http://www.geolympix.com for details as they're available.

Hope to see you all again, in Oxford next July 22nd if not before [:)]

As all the travel items have been booked out and everyone who attended has logged, I think, it's time to put this event to bed.

THIS EVENT

When: From 7pm on Friday August 12th 2011.

What: A chance for those who didn't make it to the launch party in Swansea to hear more about the Geolympix, discuss caches, caching and cachers and swap travel items in convivial surroundings. There's a Beefeater restaurant and Premier Inn on the site but the event is in The Longwall's bar area. There will be lots of Geolympix freebies available on a First Come First Freebied basis.

Who: All cachers welcome! Children 'til 9pm and dogs outside (except Assistance Dogs) - You don't even have to be interesting in the Geolympix. You can just come for a drink and a geo-natter. New to caching? You're especially welcome!

THE GEOLYMPIX

Where: The Oxford Town Hall, Oxford, UK. A convenient, central location and a historic venue and surroundings.

When: The main event is on Sunday July 22nd 2012, with a full programme of events - including CITO, Camping and Night Caching - around it.

What: An international celebration of geocaching, featuring a series of events and challenges to make this a Summer Festival of Caching! With all profits going to charity, a chance to find 11 Icons in 11 Hours and fill up your D/T Grid locally, plus a wealth of other features - talks, debates, sales stands, geocoins and more - we hope you'll love our plans.

Who: Cachers for far and wide. It's being organised to be a GeoKid & GeoDog-friendly programme.

More: You can learn more about the event at Geolympix.com.
