Geocache Description:

"Born in the U.S.A." performed by Bruce Springsteen of the 1984 album of the same name.

Cache is small metal pill container hiding behind the clue. Contains log only, BYOP.

Welcome to the Rock-n-Roll Series. This series is based upon the title of Rock songs, from the 1960’s to today’s popular tunes. The song titles will reflect either the type of cache container or the placement location of the cache. Any additional hints will be listed on that particular cache’s page.

I know I can’t please all the people, all the time, so let me say here and now that some of the cache titles were used with creative license. You might not think a particular song is “Rock-n-Roll”, but trust me, someone else does. Some might be heavy metal, some might be punk rock, some might be classic rock. So this being said, please don’t get nasty about a particular name. This is a game folks!

This series was 2 months in the making, from planning, researching rock song titles along with their album and release dates, scouring my home, thrift stores, dollar stores, friend’s homes, freecycle, etc. for the perfect container, as well as scouting about the county for appropriate places to hide them, to the actual construction and placement of the caches. This is what happens when you are unemployed with too much time on your hands!

Although the caches were placed on different dates, I am publishing them all at one time. They are scattered all about the county, with some being easier to get to than others. This series is not intended to be grabbed in one day, but if you are able to find all ?? caches in a 24-hour period, then all I can say is YOU ROCK!

I would like to thank my fellow cache buddies for all their assistance in helping me to produce this series:

AZ Floyd, KernRiverRat, and 2Smokes for their song title ideas. Pieman for being so patient and driving me all over hell and back placing these caches. My mom, GrannyGoose32 for being a wonderful source of encouragement and helping me construct some of the caches. My son, icantskate, for his enthusiasm and letting me monopolize his laptop. And a great big thanks to my friend Matt, who came up with so many great titles and researched album names and release dates for me, even though he isn’t a cacher. A person couldn’t have more wonderful, loyal friends and family than I do.

So, I hope all you cachers out there will enjoy this series! Cache On!!!
