Geocache Description:

 Bonne promenade !

The position given is that of waypoint 1, where you will find the coordinates of the "treasure".

After parking in front of the city hall, if you take the east gate on your left, you will see various farm tools of the past.
Dating from the nineteenth century, this château was originally built by the Toussans de Roquefort. General Toussan and François Toussan (1840-1927) lived there.
Its imposing structure, the octagonal tower and the many rectangular windows give this building a Renaissance style popular in the nineteenth century.
The castle was completed by Mr. Da Silva in the twentieth century.
In 1982, the municipality  purchased and installed its city hall in it, where it still is.

The park of the château is very pleasant and often hosts weddings. It also attracts many walkers with its beautiful trees, its children's playground and facilities for skateboards, inline skates and BMX. If there is no noise, look around you: you may see squirrels!

Enjoy your walk!
