The Halloween Crew consists of
T A G
We have joined forces specifically to create this Halloween event, and related caches.
Following on from last years
Halloween Hides & Creepy Caches Event
which was a resounding success.
A tough act to follow, but were gonna try our best!
The venue this year is "The Wharf" in Bugbrooke
Halloween falls on a Monday this year,
so we are having the event on Saturday 29th October,
so you have no excuse not to come!
For those bringing younger cachers
or those of you that are just too plain scared of the dark,
we will be starting the event at 2.30pm.
We promise it will be even more scary than last year!
There will be 19 day time caches to get you in the mood,
then once darkness falls, the fun begins with another 10 caches of extra spookiness being released at 8pm.
The day caches are placed over a 4 mile route, the night route is about 2 miles long.
Please note: Due to the nature of some of the night time caches, they will only be in their most scary format for the night of the event. Some containers will change to more maintainable caches the following morning, so please do try to do the night series that night for maximum effect!
As with last year, fancy dress is strongly encouraged but not mandatory. There will be a prize for the best dressed again too.
As we get things together we will update the page accordingly,
so put a watch on it for updates.
Spirits will be behind the bar but also together with a choice of traditional beers, real ales, fine wines.
Food will be available at the pub all day,
but if you would like to book a table for a meal
please contact the pub direct
and mention you are attending the Halloween Hikers event.
Lunch and Evening Menus (Opens in a new window)
Please indicate in any "Will attend" logs how many souls
will be in your group mentioning how many adults and children.
Fangs very much for your support of this event.
