Kingsbury Water Park and Cache 10 Mill Pool
How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
Taking the lower level track, you a looking for a small clip top tub. This track can become soggy after rainfall. When I set the series there was a direct path to no.11 by crossing the stream via a log in the water. This has since been washed away, but a new makeshift crossing is now in place. You will need to make your own judgement about using it, but if unsure I urge you to continue around the south and west side of Swann Pool.
I advise checking the Park website for up to date information about access.
Reclaimed from gravel pits, and opened in the 1970's, Kingsbury Water Park now has 15 lakes situated in over 600 acres of Country Park. Parking is available on site, generally during daylight hours, for a small charge. There are footpaths, bridleways and tarmac roads within the park. Activities available include fishing, sailing, birding and riding. There is a small gauge railway; child play areas, information centre and cafe.
Thanks to Warwickshire County Council Country Parks and the onsite Rangers for allowing these caches to be placed.
The caches are child friendly and not intended to be difficult to find. They are not generally placed near to the edge of lakes, but as always please take care of geo-kids around water. They are all placed near to paths and so please take a look back before moving on to ensure they are not in plain view.
There is a mix of small and micro containers so please bring a pen!
