These caches have been set to celebrate my 40th Birthday. One for every year of my life. The cache container is:

The Royal New Zealand Navy discontinued its daily rum ration!

IN music: Maria McKee was birhtday number one with SHow Me Heaven; The Righteous Brothers had the best selling single fo the year with Unchained Melody; the silly songs returned with Turtle Power and Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini; the year was round out by Iron Maiden and Bring Your Daughter... toi the Slaughter.

Also in 1990: work crews from both sides of the channel meet 40m beneath the seabed in the Channel Tunnel; Glasgow is the Culture Capital of Europe for 1990; Stephen Hendry becomes youngest ever world snooker champion, aged 21.
