How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
Have you ever wanted to go on a long hike? A really long hike? Meet us at sunrise and consider joining us for 20 miles!
Where can you hike in a park setting and still be surrounded by the activity of a big city? Central Park! With miles of walking trails, fountains, lakes, and historic bridges, come and enjoy the sites while meeting a group of cachers from NJ who are determined to break the 20 mile mark.
We will meet at the posted coords at 7:00am Mountcliff Arch. NE corner of Central Park.
Enjoy some coffee. THE HIKE IS NOT REQUIRED!! After 15 minutes of chat and coin exchange, those that care to join will tour the park, tracking our distance until we hit 20 hitting every path, crossing every bridge, and seeing every arch. Join us for java, sign the log, then continue with us for a brisk stroll. (Can 20 miles be considered a stroll?)
Can you do 20? Just join us to say hello and wish us well, and still get your smiley. It is encouraged that you at least make it till noon, where we expect to be 1/2 finished.
With a little vigor, I fully expect that we can get this done before dark.
We all indulge a little too much on Thanksgiving, lets work off those calories and hit the paths!
