Geocache Description:


Permission for this location has been given by the facility Environment Services Manager.  Please hunt this cache during daylight hours only.

This cache is placed in honor of our cat, Sparky. The original cache, ‘Sparky’s Cache’ is missing. We archived it.



Sparky came into our lives on July 30, 2006. He lived in Saginaw Michigan. I met his owner on a doll board. We became good friends. She had been ‘under the weather’ for weeks. Her doctor ran her through a series of allergy tests. Conclusion? Sparky needed a new home. She sent me a picture. I fell instantly in love! Long story short: Schedules were coordinated and we were on our way to ‘Sparkyland’. The rest is history.

Sparky is a senior cat. He’s very much ‘the gentleman’ with a sweet delicate purr, soft fur with beautiful markings and a delightful disposition. He loves to be brushed. His lavish lifestyle includes his own bedroom where he enjoys a double bed topped with a quilt, cat treats anytime he wants them just for the asking and tummy rubs.

Durango Dale made the cute container. Sue won it at the 4th Annual Southeast Iowa October Cache Fest. Thank you Dale!
