This is a two-stage cache inspired by Family ‘Waldtrolle’ who were our geocaching guests in October 2011. Petra invited Espargosas to devise a cache that incorporated a particular item (apparent in the cache) that she had found whilst geocaching during their family holiday in the Algarve. She planned to incorporate what Espargosas devised in a cache that she would set in her native Germany.
Espargosas had earlier decided to retire from geocaching and to set no more caches but, who could refuse such a request from a charming lady? So, ‘Swan Song’ is the result. Enjoy the fantastic views.
The first stage is at the given coordinates, the clue for which is ‘Heavens Above!’ A little thought, but no force or energy, is required. This will provide the last 3 digits of both northing and westing coordinates of the final cache. But, PLEASE be careful with the mechanism and replace everything exactly as you found it. Thanks.
There is no ‘catch’ to finding the final cache which is a standard sized cylindrical plastic container hidden in a fairly typical manner and which includes a Travel Bug, at the time of setting.
