tsigom: This one just wasn't worth the hassle as it turns out.
I'm going to ponder the park's potential, perhaps placing one elsewhere later.
I've heard there were some vandalism issues at this park which might make the area even less desireable for cachers to be lurking and potentially causing muggle concern.
Unfortunate and sad to archive our first hide, but reality says... buh and bye.

Geocache Description:

Micro located in Fairfax's Hawks Ridge Park.

This should be a realtively quick grab located in Fairfax's newest park - Hawks Ridge. Since it's not a very large park (but rather nice) your trek back to the hide area will pretty much give you the whole "tour".

Paved parking lot, nice gravel trail around the perimeter, and smooth lawn. Since I haven't seen any formal park hours, let's go with 6 AM to 10 PM as those seem to be common hours elsewhere.

Permission to place granted by Fairfax Mayor Jason Rabe.
Our first hide, so feedback is appreciated.

No snoozing if you're going for the FTF around these parts... Congrats to snowandskitter on the FTF!
