crko&Co: Zaklad več ne služi namenu, ki sem si ga zamislil - vabilu k ogledu odmaknjenega, lepega jedra kraja. S populiziranjem velikih serij zakladov (trailov) je postal le še ena od mnogih točk traila, zato sem se ga odločil po štirih letih arhivirat.

Legenda pravi, da sta iz Poljske cez Polenšak potovala brata Ciril in Metod s spremstvom mladih fantov v Rim. Ob reki Muri so se morali ustaviti, ker si je eden izmed bratov poškodoval nogo. Med pocitkom je izrezljal ikono Matere božje in dejal, da jo bo obesil na tistem mestu, od koder bodo prvic zagledali obzidje rimske Poetovie (današnji Ptuj). To se je zgodilo pri veliki lipi na Polenšaku in nanjo sta brata obesila podobo Marijinega obiskanja, h kateri so se ljudje zatekali k molitvi.
V casu nalezljivih bolezni, posebno kuge, je sem ob nedeljah in praznikih prihajalo po vec tisoc romarjev. V kroniki je zapisano, da je prišlo leta 1872 k Materi božji na Polenšak 40.000 romarjev.
Današnja cerkev z visokim zvonikom nam kaže barocno podobo z glavnim in štirimi stranskimi oltarji, ki so delo Jožefa Holzingerja.

Legend says that from Poland to Rome traveled brothers Cyril and Methodius with young boys across Polenšak. Along the river Mura had to stop because it is one of the brothers injured leg. During the rest is carved icon of the Madonna and said that it will hang at the site, from where they first saw the walls of Rome Poetovia(modern Ptuj). This happened in a large tree on Polenšaku and her brother hung thepicture of Madonna's Visitation, to which people resort to prayer.
During infectious diseases, especially fever, it is here on Sundays and holidays thereafter several thousand pilgrims. The Chronicle says that in 1872 there was the Mother of God on Polenšak 40,000 pilgrims.
Today's high church spire shows a Baroque appearance with the principal and fourside altars, which are the work of Joseph Holzinger.
