An event for the hardy may be. We’ll be at the mercy of the weather here. It’s early enough to enable people to grab some caches and then go and do some Christmas shopping in Leamington – I’m told the Christmas market there is good. If you don’t fancy that then the Newbold Comyn Arms is next to the car park we’ll be meeting in. Alternatively there’s a leisure centre opposite for you to go and have a swim may be.
There’s nothing like a picnic in December. I’ll try to bring some light refreshments. Feel free to bring some too.
If anyone is interested in combining forces and planting some caches especially for the event then that would be great. The idea would be to plant them and ask for them to be reviewed ahead of the event but ask for them not published until after the event. We’ll hand out hard copies of the cache coordinates at the event enabling those attending to get some First-To-Finds. If you are interested then just get in touch and we can make sure we don’t put them in the same area.
So why is the event called Coming of Age? For no other reason than its on the 18th - it will help you remember the day!
Geocaching events are for cachers old and new. Come and swap stories and pick up hints and advice about finding and setting geocaches.
Please remember to sign the event log book.
Feel free to bring along travel bugs to be swopped or discovered. There will be a box there to put them in
(No hints available.)
