[EN] Unique house from Klonowa St.

Powstal on w 1935 roku wedlug projektu wybitnego architekta Bohdana Pniewskiego.
Podczas okupacji w domu urzedowala hitlerowska Geheime Feldpolizei – Tajna Policja Polowa. Moze dzieki temu budynek uniknal zniszczen.
Mieszkali tam m.in. Jakub Berman, Stanislaw Radkiewicz, Michal Rola-Zymierski i Marian Spychalski.

[EN] [About bulding] At first sight the building at Klonowa St. looks like a 'monolith', in fact they are two separate houses. Part of the building at No. 6 was formed to engineer Muszynski, and that at No. 8 was owned by Stanislaw Urbanowicz - a renowned lawyer before the war. Each part of the house has its own characteristic feature - a kind of dominante ending building.
During the occupation of the house officiated Nazi Geheime Feldpolizei - Secret Field Police. Perhaps thanks to this building suffer devastation.
After 1946 years house over to the state and allocated for housing for high government officials. They lived there, among others, Jakub Berman, Stanislaw Radkiewicz, Michal Rola-Żymierski and Marian Spychalski.
In 1990-1992in a building at No. 6, pending the move out to the Belvedere, lived president Lech Walesa.
