Leemax: Well, this was the first cache to be placed in the Uppsala area and now it has come to an end! The wall where the cache was hidden is being repaired and as caches hidden in ancient monuments are rather questionable, I think it is a good time to close the book on this one, especially as there are no TB's residing here just now. Thank you to all who have visited this historic cache.

Geocache Description:

Very near a church from 1100. Worth a visit for the beautiful altar.

First Cache in the Uppsala area! This is a fairly easy one to start with.

White plastic cylinder, 65mm diam, 120mm long.
Contents:

  • Logbook and pencil
  • Kodak bottle opener/Keyring
  • Three coins: British 2p, Iceland 5kr, Dutch 1g

    Note: This cache can even be found quite easily when there is snow on the ground.
