Prairie Walk Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Mister Greenthumb and Sunshine: Looks like it's been gone for a while. It was just sitting next to a tree. We don't go to Lapham Peak very often so this one won't be replaced.

Geocache Description:

Most visitors to Lapham Peak spend their time in the eastern section of the park that is mainly forested and also has the lookout tower. The western part of the park has great hiking through areas that are mostly hilly prairies with some small wooded areas. There is a new asphalt paved trail that will lead you to access points to many of the trails. The cache is not located near any close parking so it can be accessed from several directions. The hide is an easy to find one quart plastic jar. This cache is more about the hike than the hide, but it should be an easy smiley.

The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Bret Johanen of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager.
