A tiny mathematical puzzle nearby the Donner's school



Donnerin koulu
Kokkolan ruotsinkielisen yläasteen, eli Donnerin koulun historia ulottuu yli 150 vuoden päähän, kun Högre elementarskola i Gamlakarleby aloitti toimintansa vuonna 1861.

Matematiikka
Matematiikka on koko ihmiskuntaa yhdistävä kieli, jonka avulla voidaan selittää lähestulkoon kaikki maailmankaikkeuden ilmiöt ja tapahtumat . Mies lupasi antaa kullekin niin monta kultadinaaria kuin itse kunkin jakojäännös osoitti, joten heidän oli tarkoin harkittava minkä kolminumeroisen luvun he kukin valitsisivat.

The history of the Swedish High Grade reaches over 150 years back when the Högre elementarskola i Gamlakarleby established in the year 1861.

Mathematics
Mathematics is an abstract science based on deductive argumentation, which studies among other things quantities, structures, changes and transitions as well as spaces. Mathematics is used as an universal language to describe physical and conceptual relationships between mathematical quantities, which “grammar” (rules and laws) and “vocabulary” (conceptual system) is determined extremely strictly. This enables presenting the facts unambiguously when the logical structures are expected to be constant.

Mathematical relationships between different numbers comprise myriads of interesting phenomenoms and the following is one of them:

An ancient Oriental story tells about a wealthy man from whom three beggars came to plead a charity.

The man gave to the beggars a problem to solve: Each and every one of the beggars had to choose individually any three digit number, a b c, and write it down and then they had to write that very same number once again after the first number, so: a b c a b c.

One of the beggars had to divide his six digit number by seven, the second beggar had to divide his one by eleven and the last beggar had to divide his own number by thirteen.

The wealthy man promised to give to the beggars as many gold Dinars as their individual remainder allocates. Therefore they had to weight very thoroughly which three digit number they will choose.

Which one of the beggars got the most gold coins?

You will get the cache coordinates by subtracting the biggest remainder from the decimal parts of the minutes of both given longitude and latitude in the cache description.
