How Geocaching Works

This cache is in one of my favourite parts of the Scotchman’s Creek Trail. To find the cache you’ll need to walk “the path less taken”. Most people stick to the sealed walking/cycling path here, but below the main path is a bush track which meanders by the creek for almost 200m, before reconnecting with the main path. This is a beautiful place for a peaceful walk. You’re bound to see some native birds and maybe hear some frogs.
If you find yourself trudging through bush, you’re approaching this cache from the wrong side. Walk on until you see the bush track below the main path. The track is reasonably flat - fine for geokids, but may not suit prams with small wheels. There’s plenty of parking on Stanley Ave or the streets coming off it.
The cache is a 1.2L Sistema container painted black. There’s plenty of room for swaps.
Enjoy your walk.
