Visit this wonderful bridge formation created by nature!
΅I am sorry to inform you that in Feb. 2018, this legendary bridge formation was destroyed by nature, just as it was crafted by nature. Part of the magic has vanished with it. I believe despite this that the location still deserves a visit though to experience the river up close in this area rich in vegetation.
God's Bridge (Theogefyro) is an interesting geological formation that looks like an arched bridge, created by the running waters of Kalama river.
Until 1800 it was the main route junction for the villages of the right side with the town of Ioannina.
Facts: 45m long, 5m wide, 20m above stream.
Is a regular size container.
Go down the path towards the river, shortly before reaching the end of the wooden path there is a small opening on the fence on the left side. The cache is between the wooden stair path and the river. Since GPS reception is very bad in the canyon, the coordinates of the cache are NOT very accurate, I suggest you look at the spoiler pictures!
There is a "one-time" camera! (leave inside pls) :-)
Whether you find it or not, I recommend you catch your breath at a small cafe upstream (open on weekends) connected by 200m road from the bridge.
