Geocache Description:

OS Coords NH 60617 38739 Woodland paths - need wellies if it's been raining. About 1km walk from entering wood.

This is one of a set of 5 "Ness" caches being set up round Loch Ness. Each is complete within itself, but also contains two of the OS GB coordinates for a 6th cache - a reward for doing all the others. The grading and difficulty details given here relate to this cache alone. Each of the 6 caches will appear as a separate cache in the system. A Tupperware-type box with a collection of goodies: CD, water, bits and bobs, disposable camaera to record your visit.

Miffy the travel bug started from here.

Well-hidden under a fallen tree-trunk and covered with bracken etc.

An easy enough walk to an attractive spot. Look out for ticks in the summer months. Some roaming dogs and their owners, despite the sign on the gate. 17 June 2002 Went out to check the cache - still there, though hard to find with the trees in full leaf and the undergrowth (blaeberries and bracken) so well advanced.
