Geocache Description:

Updated on 10/20/16.  Moved to another location due to forest clearing.  See reference point coordinates for where the "Tilting Tree" is located.

This cache is one of fifty placed for the annual GeoTahoeSouth event that was held each June in South Lake Tahoe.

The event has now been retired.

Please do not leave any items in the cache that carry a scent, Tahoe is Bear country.

The Leaning Tower of Pisa took 177 years to construct. Since Jeffery Pines can live up to 500 years and grow as tall as 175 feet, nature may have taken longer to grow this strange looking one.
