Geocache Description:

**********************************************************************************
A cache for "cache and dash" and view lovers. Indeed, far from being hidden in a secret place, the windmill (private property) is located above an important crossroads. However, along with its history, this cache  will  make you discover a beautiful view!
Many thanks to its owner who let me take the picture from his yard.
Formerly
built in wood and earth, the mill used to have mechanisms made of boxwood, famous for its everlasting qualities.
In
1816, the mill, better-known as the "Moulin de Loulé"
, was rebuilt in stone.  On its façade, a rosette, visible from the road, is made of worked stone: it is actually an opening behind which the millerhad his bed. Around the opening, floral patterns may represent the four winds.
Enjoy and ....Three cheers for February 29th!
