Geocache Description:

The Big SEVEN OH!

· On March 12th, 2005, Norvina makes her first find with GCBB9F.
· By July 25th, 2008, she had found her 1000th find with GC1ATXH.
· On July 16th, 2009, she found her 2000th cache with GC1VN6P.
· Norvina uses Paklid's Black Bart Tribute GC2H627 as her 3000th find on October 28th, 2010.
· Norvina scores find number 4000 with GC2KC6G.
· And finally, Norvina is just a hundred or two away from 5000 finds!

Not bad at all considering she starting geocaching by keeping her son company in the woods. And consider this, two of Norvina's greatest fears; always expecting the worst and being deathly afraid of water.

So far she's done the following..

· paddled the Cannon River
· paddled to the BWCAW virtual caches
· paddled to islands on Lake Superior (in May)
· Driven on various lakes
· snowshoed on more lakes
· she's even trudged her way across the bog at Kathio

Why is this significant?? Because Norvina (pronounced /nor/ - /vai/ - /na/) is turning 70 years old and is a grandmother seven times over. How many 70 year old grandmas do YOU know that will geocache a half a mile into a storm drain?

Come and join us to celebrate Norvina's SEVENTIETH BIRTHDAY and all of her geocaching achievements.
