Geocache Description:

Le marais de Goulaine abrite une abondante diversité
animale et végétale. 143 espèces d'oiseaux y sont
présentes plus ou moins régulièrement: canard colvert,
foulque macroule, sarcelle, filigule millouin, aigrette
garzelle, héron cendré, bihoreau gris, busard des roseaux,
bruant des roseaux. Le marais de goulaine est également
la plus grande frayère à brochets de France. Ce réservoir
d'alevins fournirait 100 000 brochetons par an.

 The swamp of Goulaine has an abundant plant and animal
diversity. 143 species of birds are present more or less
regularly: mallard, coot, teal, filigule millouin,
Garzelli egret, heron, night heron, marsh harrier,
reed bunting. Swamp goulaine is also the largest pike
spawning space in France. This tank provide 100 000 pike
fingerlings annually.
