Geocache Description:

Come join us again for a fireside chat by the Lean-to to jump start the 2012 Mid Winter Event!

Last year’s Lean-to event was a great time so Geolobo and Bluegirl have kindly offered up their lean-to to try it again. The Mid-Winter Event hosted by Geolobo and Bluegirl encourages cachers from all over the northeast to attend and enjoy a multitude of new caches and a variety of events for every kind of cacher to enjoy.

ADDITIONAL EVENTS
2012 Mid-Winter Meet and Greet
2012 Mid-Winter Geocaching Get-Together
2012 Mid-Winter Geo Survival Event 2012
2012 Mid-Winter Flash Mob Event

Each year is somehow even better than the last and it has evolved into a “can’t miss it!” event!

For all those folks heading up a bit early we'd like to invite you to a gathering by the lean-to. The activities will start around 8:00 pm at the above coordinates. Please bring along chairs if you'd like to sit, and a little firewood if you can. If everyone brings a little bit it will ensure we have enough to keep the fire stoked up. Please be sure to follow all current NYSDEC regulations relative to transporting firewood!

A BIG thanks again this year to Geolobo and BlueGirl for donating the space. There will be some snacks and munchies but feel free to bring additional items if you'd like. Also, this is a BYOB (bring your own beverage) event. Looking forward to seeing everyone!!
