In order to keep the calendar year synchronized with the astronomical or seasonal year, it has been made known that geocachers from around the land should gather to enjoy a find on this, the 29th of February.

Meet indoors at the coordinates, and we'll enjoy some very brief, fun time together, and you'll have plenty of time to get some caches before it gets too dark! If you can't make it for the later evening event, come to this one. If you can't come to this one, head to that one! If you make it to both, that's great!
When? Wednesday, February 29, 2012 from 5:00-5:15pm
Where? Inside the door near the coordinates that smells the most like coffee and bagels
Who? Anyone, everyone! New cachers, veteran cachers, friends and family.
What? A "flash-mob style" gathering to meet, laugh, and get on with it!
There are numerous caches near the event site, and many more to find on the way across the border to Wisconsin, should you be headed there for something, say, around 8pm at a certain Perkins restaurant in Superior... ;)
We'll have a few door prizes to hand out, too...including a ready-made ammo can cache, a Gamin i3, and some other doodads I'm working on. Hope to see you there! (and in Wisconsin at 8!)
