Geocache Description:

Much of this hike is along an old dike. Watch for muskrat holes. The last part is down in the marsh.

Checkout MyTopo Maps before you begin so you know how the dike is laid out. Stay on the dike until you reach the end because there is some private property out there. To get to the dike, go west from the parking spot and then go south and follow the higher ground on the east side of the ditch.

The parking lot my become inaccessible in winter due to snow.

Dogs need to be on a leash from April 15 through July 31.

This is a public hunting area.

The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Jacob Fries of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form.
