Geocache Description:

There are those among the caching community who like a bit of climbing and this one is for you. Please only attempt if you have the right equipment and experience and preferably a companion.

This is one placed as part of a circular walk which is an update of the original GW circuit - taking you on the same journey but via some different paths. A bit longer too - now estimated at 8 miles or so for the whole route. Clearly it can also be done on its own - especially for those grid fillers out there that don't want to go boating in Stamford or climbing in Barmouth...

There are a variety of containers, which all have one thing in common. They are not 35mm film pots (nothing wrong with those, but we've run out....!).

The hides can be a bit trickier on occasion, so if you are doing the whole trip it would be interesting to hear how long it takes. I would estimate 4-5 hours, longer if you take time out to visit any of the pubs or the tea-room half way round.

Please note the terrain on this one - it really is! To get this as part of the circuit you will either have to have made arrangements to deliver climbing equipment to the area ahead of the walk, or be carrying it with you. Either way - you will need it.

Hope that you enjoy!

No pen here - please supply your own.
