Museu do Pão

O Museu do Pão sediado em Seia, é um museu privado que pretende recolher, preservar e exibir objectos e o patrimonio do pão portugues nas suas vertentes etnográfica, politica, historica, social, religiosa e artistica.

Este projecto remonta a 1996 e nasceu na sequencia de sinergias criadas entre historiadores, empresarios e docentes.

A sua abertura aconteceu a 26 de Setembro de 2002.

O museu dispõem de 4 salas expositivas que pretendem exibir e recriar a arte e a historia do pão.

-Ciclo do pão - neste espaço reconstituem-se as etapas essenciais do ciclo tradicional do pão português.

-O pão político, social e religioso - neste espaço exibe-se e recorda-se a historia do pão nacional nos ultimos 400 anos.

-A arte do pão - nesta sala expõem-se objectos que têm inspiração no pão, suas alfaias e tradições.

-Sala pedagógica- trata-se essencialmente de um espaço dedicado ao publico infantil e juvenil, um espaço de aprendizagem.

O museu atingiu no mes de abril de 2012 a marca de 1 milhão de visitantes correspondendo a um numeró medio de 9000 visitas/mês.

The Bread Museum based in Seia, is a private museum that wants to collect, preserve and display objects of the Portuguese heritage of the bread in its aspects ethnographic, political, historical, social, religious and artistic.

This project dates back to 1996 and was born in the sequence of synergies among historians, businessmen and teachers.

Para abrir o container não é necessario forçar nada,basta colocar uma pequena pressão no canto inferior direito e aproximar do metal uma moeda de 5 centimos.
