Dzirnavkalns
Dzirnavkalns, agrāk saukts arī Sudmalkalns, atrodas Vilkmuižas ezera dienvidu galā. Šī vieta tiek uzskatīta par seno kuršu kulta vietu, kur Livonijas ordenis 15.gs. sākumā uzcēla mūra pili. Hronikā tā pēdējo reizi minēta 1636. gadā.
19.gs. vidū barons Heikings ordeņa pils vietā uzcēla savu pilsētas namu, apkārt izkopjot parku ar dendroloģiskajiem stādījumiem un celiņiem.
Pirms 1857. gada bagāts ebreju tirgotājs Jeruhmanovs turpat blakus uzbūvēja holandiešu tipa vējdzirnavas, ko vietējie nosauca par Vilkmuižas jeb Velna vējdzirnavām. Vējdzirnavas darbojušās vēl 1. Pasaules kara laikā un nodedzinātas ap 1922. gadu.
No Dzirnavkalna paveras skats uz Vilkmuižas ezeru, tirgus laukumu, 1950. - 1960.g. celto privāto māju rajonu, Talsu ledus halli. Ejot pa Kalna ielas veco bruģi, nonākam Ezeru laukumā, slavenā Dižmāras tirgus vietā. Te iekārtota piemiņas vieta 1997. gada 28. jūnija Talsu traģēdijas upuriem „Dzīvības aplis, nāves ēnā" (tēlnieks Ojārs Arvīds Feldbergs). Jaunieši un aktīvās atpūtas piekritēji savu drosmi un meistarību var pārbaudīt skeitparkā „9 pakalni".
